1870 Half Dollar Octagonal. Breen and Gillio-908. Rarity 5. NGC graded MS-65. Soft yellow golden color. No fraction bar. The reverse center reveals some of the original engine-turning on the die that the die maker neglected to polish off before inserting the dies into the press. A lovely Gem example. Pop 2; 4 finer.
