1856 N-5 R5- Slanted 5 Proof Only. PCGS Graded Proof 63 Red & Brown. The obverse retains 75% of the bright original mint red while the reverse shows very faded mint color bleeding through in the fields and protected areas. The strike is needle-sharp and the fields display excellent reflectivity. Unfortunately there are numerous small spots of very fine carbon scattered over the obverse. The reverse is flawless. Our grade is net Proof-60+. Housed in an old green label PCGS "rattler" holder. PCGS population 3; 18 finer.
