Lot 863

1800 S-202 R4+ G6. Very slightly sharper but there are a few contact marks on an otherwise smooth, attractive planchet. The notable marks are a rim dent at Y in LIBERTY, another opposite the tip of the nose, and a smoothed one right of the bust tip. A shallow dig under the E in CENT and a diagonal nick under the E in ONE are the notable marks on the reverse. Glossy chocolate and steel. The date is strong and the legends are bold except for weakness at STATES due to die swelling in that area. E-MDS, Breen state II.
Estimated Value $150-UP.
Ex Joe Tomasko 1982-Paul Padgett-John Sype 2/86.

Realized $437
