1800/79 S-193 R4 Overdate 80 over 79 with Style II Hair F12. Sharpness near VF25 but there is some shallow black scale in protected areas on both sides, mostly in the hair below the ribbon and around UNITED. The planchet is reasonably smooth but does display numerous tiny contact marks, none notable or distracting but more than normal for the sharpness grade. Light to medium chocolate brown with dark olive in protected areas. E-MDS, Breen state II, with a clear die crack arcing through the fraction and UN. The date is bold and the overdate is obvious to the unaided eye.
