1798 S-163 R4 Style I Hair with Small 8 G6. Sharpness VG10 but dull thanks to uniform extremely fine roughness under a slightly glossy dark greenish olive and steel patina. The only notable mark is a thin diagonal scratch through the N in ONE. The date is strong and the legends are clear. Scarce MDS, Breen state VI, with a sunken retained cud break from the bottom of the 17 to under the lowest curl. The date and legends are complete and clear.
