Lot 825
1798/7 S-150 R5 Overdate 8 over 7 AG3. A couple points sharper but there are numerous pitmarks on the upper half of the reverse plus a couple more at RICA in AMERICA. No verdigris, and the remainder of the planchet is reasonably smooth. A dull dent in the field behind the head is the only significant contact mark. Rather glossy dark steel brown and chocolate mixed with darker olive in a few of the protected areas. The date is bold and the overdate is obvious. LDS, Breen state IV, with swelling on the reverse.
