1794 S-46 R3 F12. Several points sharper but there are a few too many small contact marks for the higher grade. These include a very light rim bruise left of the lower curls, a pair of nicks left of the eye, a couple more marks at the top of the neck, and a small rim bruise above ES in STATES. There is a spot of very fine verdigris at the dentils left of the lower curls and some more at F-AM, but the remainder of the planchet is smooth. Glossy light chocolate brown with splashes of darker chocolate and olive brown on both sides. E-MDS, Breen state II. The date and legends are bold.
