1843 N-11 R2- MS60+. Frosty light bluish steel brown with traces of the mint red remaining on the obverse, 20% on the reverse. The fields are satiny and very attractive. No spots, stains, or notable marks. MDS, die state c, with a die crack from the dentils through I in AMERICA to the wreath below. The hair at the top of the ear and the upper edge of the coronet above LIB are not quite fully struck up. Removed from an NGC slab graded MS64BN (NGC label included). DWH #2521.
