1853 N-19 R1 Repunched 853 MS60+. Nice glossy medium brown and chocolate with frosty luster in protected areas. The only mark is a tiny rim nick at the T in UNITED. EDS, die state a early, with faint vertical die polishing lines covering the obverse fields. The repunching on the 853 is sharp. Not in the overall condition census for the variety but tied for finest known of the early state in the Grellman census. Removed from an NGC slab graded MS65BN (NGC label included). DWH #2270.
