Great Britain. Bronze Proof Penny, 1881-H. Peck-1725; Freeman-107 (11 + M); KM-755. Victoria. Obverse: Young laureate bust of Queen left. No signature on bust, toothed border both sides. Reverse: Helmeted Britannia, seated on rocks, date in exergue. Design beautifully frosted with mirror fields, and sharp mirror edge. A stunning example with original color intact, this specimen must have been well protected for 130 years. Peck describes as 'Extremely Rare' Freeman designates R18. NGC graded Proof 65 Red & Brown.
