Great Britain. Emergency issue countermarked Dollar, ND. S.3765A; ESC-129. George III. Obverse: Portrait of George III in small oval stamped over the head of Charles IV on an 8 Reales of Mexico. Reverse: Crowned shield with pillars. It is rare to find such a well struck oval counterstamp on this early portrait of the Spanish king. Underlying original luster and good eye appeal. NGC graded AU-58.
