1851 N-4 R1 Repunched 1's MS60. Frosty bluish steel brown with hints of very faded mint red on the reverse. The fields are covered with attractive satiny mint luster, especially the obverse. There is a tiny rim nick at E in UNITED and a few more off the stem tip. MDS, die state a late. The diagonal die lines in the field at the date are very dull and the repunching on the 1's is visible. Tied for CC#8 in the Grellman census. Removed from a PCGS slab graded MS64BN (PCGS label included). DWH #2151.
