1850 N-28 R3- MS63. Lustrous light bluish steel brown with 30% of the red remaining on the obverse, 10% on the reverse. The only defects are a small rim nick at star 9, a tiny tick left of the earlobe, and a speck under the right edge of the eyeball. The fields are satiny and lustrous with excellent eye appeal. M-LDS, die state a very late. The vertical line inside the bottom of the E in ONE is faint but still visible. Tied for CC#1 honors with one other piece in the Grellman census and only 4 mint state examples are known. DWH #2149.
