1850 N-19 R2 MS63. Mint red toning down to bluish steel brown on the highpoints, at least a third of the bright original mint color remaining, mostly on the reverse. There are a couple dull, tiny nicks right of star 2 and a few more under the hairbun; otherwise the surfaces are pristine. Highly lustrous and very attractive. MDS, die state b (Newcomb's old #16). The obverse die lines and dash or lump left of the 8 have been lapped off the die. Tied for CC#5. Noyes photo #30160. DWH #1922.
