1850 N-4 R1 MS62. Lustrous bluish steel brown, a lighter shade of brown inside the wreath, with hints of very faded underlying mint red on the obverse. Covered with attractive satiny mint frost. There is a speck of carbon on the bottom of the front edge of the eyeball and another on the temple, plus a light tick on the chin and one on the coronet over the L. Sharply struck EDS, die state a, with a fine die line joining star 9 to the dentils above. Outstanding luster and eye appeal for the grade. Tied for CC#4. Removed from an NGC slab graded MS64BN (NGC label included). DWH #2136.
