1850 N-2 R1 MS63. Choice lustrous bluish steel brown with 25% of the mellowed mint red remaining. The surfaces are satiny and the eye appeal is excellent. The best identifying marks are a small, dull nick at the right bottom of star 11 and a microscopic planchet chip just left of star 6. E-MDS, die state c, with a die crack through TED to the dentils at right. Tied for finest known honors. Removed from an NGC slab graded MS65RB (NGC label included). DWH #2221.
