1902, $10 National Bank Note. The Placentia NB, Placentia, CA. PCGS Very Fine 25. Fr-628. . KL-1232. This large size-only bank was the only bank in town. It was chartered in 1911 and liquidated in 1926. This note is a lovely crisp example, with sharp pen signatures of John E. Scott as cashier and A.S. Bradford as bank president. It is pedigreed to the Colver collection and realized $2,500 in 1998; it last sold for more than $5,000 when it last appeared as part of Lowell Horwedel's collection in 2004.
