1846 N-20 R3 MS60. Lustrous light bluish steel brown with 5% of the red remaining. The notable marks are a diagonal nick-like planchet chip in the field off the nose tip and a dusting of fine carbon on the right top of the U in UNITED. The fields are satiny and the eye appeal is excellent for the grade. Sharply struck MDS, die state b. The fine die lines up from the dentils under the 6 and star 13 are gone. Tied for CC#5 in the Grellman census. DWH #2305.
