1825 N-2 R2 PCGS graded AU58. Attractive lustrous steel brown and chocolate with frosty golden tan and light brown faded down from mint color showing in the protected areas on both sides. Great eye appeal for the grade. The best identifying mark is some darker toning inside the bottom of the first S in STATES. Just a hint of friction on the highest points from mint state. M-LDS. The fine die crack down through star 7 and the other from the bust tip to the peak of the 1 and on to the dentils below are both present, and the reverse is cracked from the dentils under the wreath up to the bottom of the E in CENT. Struck slightly off center to K-7. Our grade is consistent with the slab grade. Pop 10; 24 finer at PCGS in BN.
