Lot 975

1820 N-15 R2 Small Date ICG graded MS64 Brown. Very attractive lustrous steel brown and chocolate with 5% of the mint red remaining on both sides. The surfaces are covered with unbroken satiny mint frost. The only marks, and they are trivial, are a couple very tiny nicks left of star 13, a shallow planchet flake right of the D in UNITED, and a barely visible spot of dark toning inside the C in CENT. M-LDS with fine die rust covering the portrait and most of the reverse (the usual Randall Hoard die state). Our grade is MS62+, close to MS63. The attribution is noted on the ICG label.
Estimated Value $1,000-UP.
