Lot 968

1820 N-8 R3 Small Date PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Lustrous light steel brown and chocolate. Choice except for a few small splashes of reddish brown toning, mostly on the reverse. There are two of these spots on the obverse: one between stars 7 & 8 and another between stars 11 & 12. The reverse has a few more slightly larger splashes of this reddish brown toning, and the largest of these is at ICA. There are microscopic specks of greenish verdigris in that C. The only sign of contact is a very light mark above the 2 in the date. Excellent eye appeal in spite of the small splashes. MDS. Our grade is MS60, tied for CC#3. Pop 9; 4 finer at PCGS in BN.
Estimated Value $2,000-UP.
