Lot 872

1800 S-211 R3 F15. Sharpness near VF35 but there is a patch of shallow roughness at TY. The roughness was not significant at all, but someone crudely scratched away the verdigris and the scratches are significant. The rest of the planchet is smooth and attractive. A small nick on the throat is the only contact mark. Glossy chocolate and olive brown. Later die state with obvious swelling in the field before the portrait and strong die cracks in the fields and under the date.
Estimated Value $400-UP.

Realized $604
