1798 S-182 R4 Style II Hair with Small 8 F15. Sharpness VF35 but there are numerous old scratches on both sides, mostly on the left side of the obverse and upper half of the reverse. Otherwise the planchet is smooth and attractive with just a few marks, including a nick under the chin and a pit or punchmark left of the O in OF. Glossy light to medium chocolate brown with a half dozen spots of darker chocolate toning scattered over the obverse. MDS, Breen state II, with die clashmarks at the throat.
