1798 S-180 R5+ Style II Hair with Small 8 VG10. Sharpness F15 but covered with uniform very fine roughness under a rather glossy dark olive and steel patina. There are traces of very shallow reddish verdigris in the field behind the portrait but no notable marks. Rare EDS, Breen state I, before any cud breaks on the reverse. The date and legends are complete and easily readable except for some weakness at STATES.
