1794 S-47 R4 F12. Sharpness VF25 but covered with very fine granularity on all but the highpoints, which are smooth. There is a barely visible speck of greenish verdigris at the 1 in the date and a few minor contact marks, including a dull rim nick at TA in STATES and a few tiny ones over MERI. Slightly glossy olive and dark steel brown. Sharply struck EDS, Breen state I. Looks better than the words might imply.
