1793 S-11a R4+ Vine & Bars Edge Basal State-1. Glossy steel brown and chocolate. Smooth and attractive for the grade, just heavily worn. The obverse is Fair-2 but the reverse is slick. There is a deep dig on the portrait and a couple smaller contact marks on the reverse. Portions of the date can be made out with some effort while the portrait and leaves above the date are much easier to see. Fortunately there is enough detail to positively attribute this as S-11, and most of the Vine & Bars edge device is clear.
