1806 C-4 R1 Large 6 with Stems AU50. Repunched 6. Sharpness very close to mint state but lightly cleaned and retoned lustrous bluish steel brown and chocolate with underlying very faded red in the fields and protected areas. No spots or stains, only trivial ticks of no significance. A tiny planchet clip weakens the dentils off the bust tip and ES in STATES. E-MDS, Manley state 1.0. The repunching on the 6 is clear and the reverse is rotated 30 degrees CW. The bust tip and opposing area at the top of the wreath are softly impressed, as often seen on this variety.
