Lot 646

1785 Connecticut Miller 1-E R4 F12. Slightly glossy chocolate brown with darker chocolate and olive toning in the protected areas. A few small specks of greenish verdigris can be found on both sides, but overall the planchet and surfaces are nice for the grade. Struck with the reverse slightly misaligned to K-9 but the date remains complete and easily readable. A minor planchet clip just touches the tops of ORI in AUCTORI.
Estimated Value $100-UP.

Realized $115
