1855 $1 Gold Indian. NGC graded AU-58. An untoned example with desirable mint frost in the devices and around legends. A few light surface features such as marks and one or two fine hairlines, but all in all a coin of some distinction. The date and denomination show better detail than most. Type 2 designs were featured in 1854-56 (PCGS # 7532) .
