1873 Trade Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 63. CAC Approved. Untoned. Only 865 struck. A white, fresh example, as crisp and shimmering as when it was first issued barring some slight mellowing in the reflective surface. Normal detail on all devices is typical for this first-year issue; however, with present specimen we see a wonderful exception in most regions of crisp strike with only a couple of the stars showing any rounding. An attractive PR63 coin. Pop 46; 36 finer (PCGS # 7053) .
