1883 Nickel Three Cents. NGC graded Proof 68. Lovely golden toning. Only 6,609 struck. Baking fresh color on reflective surfaces the golden color warm and comforting. Razor-sharp on the obverse, razor-edge detail on the reverse, we can tell at a glance this one had the dies spaced perfectly to impart full strong metal flow in all areas. A spot-free jewel in this condition, tied with 3 others in this grade: Pop 4; none finer at NGC.
