Tremendous detail from a very positive strike, which collectors like better to see than wishy-washy detail; furthermore, the surfaces show the aforementioned warm golden hues to good effect. Satiny; lustrous. Judged from an aesthetic standpoint, the coin is also possessed of a much finer surface than is typically found for a first-year Mint State coin of this denomination.
