Great Britain. Pattern Halfpenny, 1797. P.1153 (KH6). Bronzed finish Proof. George III, 1760-1820. Draped bust of King. Reverse: Britannia seated. A beautiful chocolate colored Proof. This coin, described by Peck as VS (Very Scarce) is now very rare in this attractive state of preservation. Surprisingly free from the scuffs and scratches one normally finds on these coins. A rare coin with great eye appeal. NGC graded Proof 64 Brown.
