1935-A, $1 Silver Certificate. Minor Obstructed Overprint. PCGS Currency Very Fine 30. . Fr-1608. . KL-1453. A small foreign object (likely a scrap of paper) was blocking the blue Treasury Seal during printing, causing a blank unprinted strip through the seal. This is the plate note for this error type in Fred Bart's U.S. Paper Money Errors reference, and a copy of the Third Edition is included in this lot along with the note.
