1856 N-8 R4 Upright 56 MS65. Lustrous mint red mellowing to bluish steel brown, 80% of the red remaining. The only marks visible without a good glass are a small spot of darker toning at the tip of the coronet and a speck near the dentils under the wreath. Sharply struck and very attractive. E-MDS, die state b, with a faint die crack at ME. CC#3 in the Grellman census.
