Lot 1200

1851 N-30 R2 PCGS graded MS64 Red & Brown. Lustrous steel brown and olive with at least 25% of the mint red showing on both sides. The surfaces are satiny and very attractive, virtually flawless. Finding an identifying mark presents a real challenge; a microscopic speck of dark toning on the left edge of the upright of T in CENT will have to suffice. LDS, die state c. The point up from the left top of the T in CENT remains visible but the others from ENT are faint or missing. Our grade is MS64, CC#2 in the Grellman census. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. Pop 1; 2 finer; 1 in 65RB; 1 in 66RB.
Estimated Value $1,000-UP.
