Lot 1021

1838 N-1 R1 MS63+. Lustrous mint red fading to olive and steel brown. About 20% of the original mint red remains on the obverse and at least half on the reverse. Virtually flawless. A speck of dark toning right of the second A in AMERICA is the only mark visible without a strong glass. Nicely struck E-MDS with a rim cud break from star 6 to star 7.5. A beautiful, frosty example with outstanding eye appeal. Very close to MS64.
Estimated Value $1,000-UP.

Realized $1,443
