1837 N-14 R2 Plain hair Cord MS63. Very attractive and highly lustrous dark bluish steel brown with peeps of faded mint color showing on both sides. The planchet is covered with satiny mint frost that extends over even the highest points of the design. Virtually flawless. A tiny nick inside the C in CENT is the best identifying mark. E-MDS. An important cent, tied for CC#1. Removed from a PCGS slab graded MS64 Brown (PCGS label included).
