Inscribed on recto/verso in pencil to art dealer Albert Stoppard "The Hon. Albert Stoppard / Dear Stoppard - Benediciti - addio- I shall see you again one day. This is Carmela whose photograph we promised her should be taken. Dear Stoppard, if it is a nuisance, say the camera is broken. addio D.H.L.".
