Russian Program, 1966, Handmade Military Wall Leaflet" (17.5x25") This handmade wall poster ("The Star of Bykonaur / April 12, 1966") has two typed newspaper pages attached to a handpainted cardboard that was designed to be hung as a billboard. The piece was created by the cosmonaut wives in honor of the "1966 Day of Cosmonauts" and is signed by 14 different cosmonauts including Gagarin, Tituv, Nikolayev, Popovich, Bykovsky, Tereshkova, Yegerov, Shatalov, Belayev, Leonov, Glazkov, Feoktistov, Zukor and Zholobov. The bottom red caption reads: "Long Live the Soviet Nation - The Conquerer of Space." Some faults, but an attractive piece of space memorabilia.
