Antique Map. "A New Map of North America, with the West India Islands, divided…1783, etc, etc". By Laurie & Whittle, printed London 1794. Originally composed of four sheets, this one depicting lands from northern Florida to Newfoundland in the east and as far west as the Gulf of California. Printed area 20" x 46" with small borders. Very light age tone but quite attractive with original outline color and a striking cartouche depicting two natives with flora and fauna. Laid on matt board and in a damaged frame having an overall size of 24" x 50". This handsome map would benefit greatly from a new matt and frame.
