1866 Indian Head Cent. NGC graded Proof 67 Red & Brown. 100% firery red obverse, the reverse a mixture of violet and red. It is a rare treat for us to be able to offer such a superb, luminous and glossy Gem Proof Indian cent. The 1866 date isn't one you see that often. Certainly it is rare as a satin cameo beauty with fully defined design features. The burst of vivid copper red on both sides, in addition to the cameo effect, almost hypnotizes your aesthetic sense with its supreme beauty! Highest NGC certified and the only one so recorded: Pop. 1; none finer.
