1848 N-30 R5. VF-20 Plus. Slightly sharper with some minor contact marks, including a dull, faint scratch that skips through stars 6-8 and a couple tiny rim bruises at the U in UNITED and ST in STATES. Attractive glossy medium brown. Very nice for the grade in spite of the minor marks. MDS, die state b. The die lines of the early state are gone but the rim cud over star 8 does not show. CC#8 in the Grellman census.
