Lot 625

1848 N-28 R1. AU-58. Glossy chocolate and olive with frosty light reddish steel brown and mint red in protected areas. Excellent eye appeal, very close to mint state. A small, dull nick on the throat and a tiny planchet flake hidden in the hair right of the earlobe are the only notable marks, and they are not distracting. Nicely struck EDS, die state a. The die lines at ON and EN in ONE CENT are clear.
Estimated Value $200-UP.
