Lot 609

1848 N-10 R3. AU-58 Plus. A beautiful, frosty cent with mint state eye appeal. The only marks are a speck of darker toning right of the nostril and a faint diagonal hairline under the N in CENT. Just the faintest hint of rub on the highest points from mint state. Lustrous medium brown and light chocolate with generous traces of mint red remaining, especially on the obverse. Nicely struck EDS, die state a, before any die cracks on the reverse. CC#9.
Estimated Value $300-UP.
