1847 N-29 R3-. AU-58. Choice glossy medium chocolate brown with 5% of the mint color remaining, mostly on the reverse. Virtually perfect. A microscopic tick just right of the nostril and a small spot of darker bluish steel toning nestled between the left points of star 12 are the only marks, and they are trivial. LDS, die state d, with fine die cracks on the reverse. A beautiful cent, very close to mint state. Tied for CC#7.
Estimated Value $150-UP.
