1847 N-27 R4. EF-45 Plus. Repunched 18. Glossy chocolate and steel brown with frosty light steel brown and tan toning covering the protected areas on both sides. No defects, only very light friction on the highpoints. A faint spot of slightly darker toning between stars 9 & 10 is the best identifying mark on this attractive cent. LDS, die state c, with several fine die cracks on the reverse. The repunching on the 18 remains clear. A choice example, close to AU50.
