1847 N-12 R3. AU-50. Repunched 8. Sharpness closer to mint state but there are several microscopic rim nicks over STA plus a few more on the lower part of the reverse. None of these marks is at all distracting and this cent offers excellent eye appeal. Lustrous chocolate and steel delicately woodgrained with lighter brown toning on the obverse. LDS, die state c, with a small but strong rim cud break right of star 9. The repunching inside the upper loop of the 8 remains sharp.
