1847 N-3 R3. MS-60. Repunched Date. Very attractive lustrous bluish steel and chocolate brown with generous traces of mint red remaining on both sides. Great eye appeal for the grade, just a few minor contact marks from choice. A light diagonal nick just left of the ear and a pair of fine scratches under EN in CENT are the only notable marks, and they are not distracting. E-MDS, die state b. Clear repunching is visible on all 4 digits of the date and there is a fine die crack at ATE in STATES. Tied for CC#12.
