Lot 569

1847 N-1 R2. AU-55. Repunched Date. Glossy light olive brown with frosty tan faded down from mint color covering the protected areas. The only defect is a faint hairline scratch slanting across the cheek. M-LDS, die state c. The repunching is clear on all 4 digits and fine die cracks meander through much of the reverse legend. The strike is nice except for some weakness in the upper part of the wreath.
Estimated Value $250-UP.
